Bonnet jammed, 2001 S8
Ok went to add some water at gas station, bonnet came down (weak shock) and landed on reservoir cap resting on inside guard.
My mistake was forgetting the cap and pressing the bonnet down, now there is no resistance (cable puller) and bonnet will not click open.
How do i get the fudging thing open ?
1: Pull on inside lever and pry ?
2: Pull on inside lever and outside central pull tab and pry ?
3: get under car and try to flick the latch ? ?
4: Go thru inside fender and try to get the latch ?
ANY pictures of our exact latch ..

Well had a jack in searches, interesting posts on the D3 forum regarding this problem !!!
Fairly sure the cable ain't broken, as it did give a little pop when I was messing with puller and random guy was holding hood down.
The real problem is the fact the reservoir cap is not on, unsure what exactly will happen if I drive it around, but it can't be good !
Can't believe how ten seconds of lazyness, in not grabbing the wood to hold the bonnet open, forgetting the cap, could SCREW up a whole day.

For future reference, here's my experience with a "no-open" problem >>>

Remember doing the various operations on the 100/200s, but they had more exposed wires.
May be the trick is that simple, if the cable is not broke,... Applied pressure to the corner of the bonnet/hood from the opposite side to the inside lever.
And even the cap was alright. May also have been the kiwi thing of not getting to ranked up and just having a beer, chilling for answers on the board and tackling it the next day !!!
