Default 4 wheel steering

I have the 4 wheel steering option. It makes the car incredibly agile. However, I was wondering, why did they make the rear wheels turn by such a tiny angle. If i remember correctly, the angle is just 3 degrees. Is there a reason why they did not make it something like 10 or 15 degrees? It would be an incredible expereince but what is the reason they didn't do it?

Single reason - stability. It may seem that 3 degrees is small, but it's enough to affect change in dynamics but not hinder stability. Larger angles would require much more complicated systems and they could cause major stability issues.

agreed. but what you are saying applies to high speeds. at low speeds why cant the back wheels turn by 10 degrees?

I think it has to do with design limitations, I think the rear steering relies on flex of rubber bushings and doesn't really have proper ball joints that would allow for wider swing like the front suspension.
