So punny =D

Great video - go Audi! However, isn't that the Land Rover Defender? That thing is a beast. Something tells me that the driver didn't know what he was doing.

And man, they must've been bored =D

It's all a matter of power, the Defender didn't even spin it's wheels. Part of why the defender does so well offroad is its low weight. It's a pretty gutless car, though, it never needed much power to be dominating offroad. If it had more power, it becomes an issue of traction on the surface.

Land Rover Defender is a lot of things.....a beast is definitely not one of them. (Used to own a 110 TD5...as flawed as it’s great, )

I’ve seen this vid before, and amusing as it is, that is a 4.2 TDI, so at least double the torque and power of the LR. Couple that with its higher weight, Torsen Quattro and consequent higher traction, the poor little Landy didn’t stand a chance!

I loved driving my friend's Defender, always thought it did really well when mudding. I wouldn't say "beast" in terms of a heavy monster but when taken offroad it was an animal for me. Never flipped it, never killed it, got it stuck once. Compare that to the Land Rover Discovery series 1, and I almost went off the side of a mountain slope in Denver with that thing.
