I just picked up some random windshield + 2 side shades (they had standard and large versions) from Costco (they unfold and expand) for $13 didn't try yet.
Can you tell us if you bought the side shades, can you share some pictures? If they are really perfect fit for sides, I might just buy those instead. Thanks.
Not sure what the side shields are,
the Heatshield covers entire windshield; I had front side windows tinted so that helps and it’s a Prestige trim, so has Manual rear and cargo door shades

For some reason I thought you were answering in reply to OP's question about sides.
Heatshield store sells side shields:
I like these shades a lot. If they fit like the ones I had on a GTI, there are clips that slide into the door/window trim and the shades snap into/behind the clips. They custom fit nicely and looked oem- i think mine were, and i ordered them from Germany at the time.
I think I’ll see if they have a set for a B9 S4.

Received sunshade.
Little bit confused the direction of clip, hopefully I installed correctly.
Otherwise I have no idea how windows are closed.
Fit very well, definitely worth to wait for a long time.
