Default My 18’Q7 Galaxy Blue

Picked it up a few weeks ago. Love the quietness and comfort... a little bubble for the daily commute.

Will do! Indeed it is surprisingly fun car to drive, specially with the combo, weight, 3.0T engine and air suspension and the fact that we are coming from a supercharged 3.0T 2015 Q7... its night and day. And we were really happy of the "old" Q7.

How was the reliability on your old Q7?

Very reliable...never had any problems. We've done ~ 48K in almost 3 years of use... It was mainly used in Phoenix, which is pretty hot and dry, but we also used it in the mountains close by in the winter, which is very cold, damp and snowy. Carried my kids and dogs around... always kept us safe! Traded it in for the new Q7... and it was gone from the dealer within 10 days.

Nice, I see running boards and a trailer hitch, I thought that wasn’t a possibility to order together?

I had the dealer do the OEM trailer hitch install post delivery... painfully $... but we need it. Plus our dealer always takes good care of us!

If you don't mind me asking, how much was the dealer trailer hitch install? How many labor hours did they invoice for the install?

I went through the same approach, between the running boards and the trailer hitch, I opted to order with the running boards as it's something I can use daily with little kids and then in the winter when I use my cargo box for going up to the mountains. The trailer hitch would have only been for occasions when I need to drive my road bike somewhere instead of just riding to the ride.

I still don't understand why the running boards and the trailer hitch couldn't be ordered together from the factory. The sales guys at the different dealers was never able to give me a straight logical answer.
