Default Disabling traffic sign recognition for ACC

Traffic sign recognition is great for displaying speed limit in the HUD and on the dashboard. But the integration with ACC sucks — going from 55 zone at 70 on ACC to 65 zone drops ACC to 65. Is there a way (MMI or OBDEleven) to disable integration with ACC while keeping speed limit display?

If it matters, I have 2018 Prestige (built in Dec 2017).

It's in the manual, at least for the S5. I finally just turned it off for the same reason that you state.

Set Speed Limit has a use where some municipalities have a zero tolerance for exceeding the speed limit but doing 65 on a freeway around here will get you killed.

hahah... I turned mine on for about a day, then off it went... there were a few spots on my drive where it would spot a 45MPH sign on the frontage road while driving on the freeway at 65-70, and brakes would go on... also, there is a high school near the house where the speed limit is 25 "When Children are present" (and there are rarely children) and it would slam on the brakes to slow down...
I WILL be turning it back on when vacationing up US 395 where the speed limit flips up and down from 55 to 45/35/25 and back again through speed traps.

It's also annoying if you regularly drive off-road to reach to your destination or into areas where there is no speed limit data like parking lots, airport service roads, private roads, etc..
The moment you go off main road, there is an annoying chime and display on dash telling you that there is no speed limit data, and to obey the laws etc.. etc.. After few times when it got really annoying, I had to turn my speed limit data integration off, but I still enjoy seeing speed limit on my dash, it's actually very useful since speed limit tends to vary and knowing that it just went from 50 to 35 then 25 is very convenient.
