Default Matrix LED v. biXenon headlight performance

Before the inevitable onslaught, I know that "biXenon" is a misnomer, but that is the Audi term, so onto the question:

Has anybody driven back to back ownership, "biXenon" then matrix LED? I do a lot of winter night driving so the headlight performance is important. The auto-dipping feature is not relevant to my decision. How far out is the useful reach? How is the focus of the beam? WIth my current set up on high beam I get about 1200 feet / 370 meters of useful illumination. I am exploring the B9 S Line package with the matrix headlights as a potential purchase. Thanks to all for reading.

I can tell you about LED on B9 and Q3 vs Xenon on B8.5: the LED is much brighter and covers more on the side of the road. It's like a light tunnel. Definetly worth choosing LED.

Having driven both, yes the Matrix is superior and the manner in which it manages the LED's is a wonder to watch..

Unfortunately we cannot yet get the Matrix LED's on this side of the pond.

Thanks to you all, Mihai, Cuke2u and Schwartz for the replies. That was Easy! Now back to that tricky torque management question.......

With respect, yes I already know this, however I was answering the OP's query, where they are sold was not part of SeaToSky's question...

Can we not get them because of an Audi decision or is it because of Federal regulations? Are they available in Canada?

Yes, Matrix LED is nice. Especially the LED startup sequence when you start the engine.
I also have the AUTO-highbeam option where highbeam is activated automatically when speed exceeds a certain figure in dark (no streetlamp) areas...

An update, Gentlemen,
I received the technical response to my technical question submitted to Audi weeks back. Seems like they have a lot of folks on holidays right now. Happy to say the gang here scooped them. The additional information is that the focus point of the low beam 35w "bi" xenon on low beam is identical to the matrix LED focus point. Maybe that was the holdup that Yb28 notes is resolved. I am still waiting on the drivetrain question: Will the 2020 B9.5 have DCSG with T3 center differential or UltraAWD. Even though I own shares in Magna, the thought of buying Ultra to have an hold into my retirement is a little concerning given all the moving (and likely) expensive bits inside.
