Replacing stereo sets off brake alarm
I am replacing my factory unit with an aftermarket stereo. I pulled the factory out and now the brake light flashes and beeps when I start the car. The light stays flashing. I have not put the new one in yet. Is there something I need to make sure I do when putting in the new one that will fix the brake light, if its related to the Stereo?
thanks

I know the rear speakers have their own amp and I have to connect them to the line level output, but do they need a remote turn on?
also do you know where the easiest spot is to wire the reverse gear input for the backup camera?
thanks
