Default Misfire

Hey, I had a thread awhile ago about my 2002 tt Quattro misfiring when under a load,everyone said to change the coil pacs so i did that but it still skips under a load not as much but still does, any suggesstions
as what to do next would be appreciated.

My guess. A 2002 likely has several vacuum hose leaks if they have not yet been replaced.

How did the wiring look to the coils? The insulation tends to crack with age and cause shorts. There are replacement connectors with wires available to correct this problem.

It doesn't look to bad, I think i will check for vacuum leaks first than go to the wires, thanks so much.

just picked up my 2001 quattro and has the same problem. I was thinking plugs and coil packs too. Might change all including the wire connectors
