Default Quattro Sideblades Black edition

I’m looking to change my sideblades to the black edition sideblades. Can someone advise if the sideblades are painted or can I simply buy the black plastic mouldings? If they are painted, does anyone know the paint code?

From what I read here (can't find the thread with service manual links) they are part of the door panels, not something you can easily remove and replace. You can probably get them painted with professional masking but if rest of your vehicle has chrome, it will look odd.

They are part of the door panel so expensive to replace, I was thinking of changing my BOP ones with SQ7 ones cause they are a bit wider but upon research they are part of the door panel. I wouldn't paint them but rather I would recommend to get them wrapped as well as the rest of the chrome pieces and it should be cheaper then painting them.

HTH.

The other chrome pieces are wrapped - roof rails, front grill and window trim.

So the side blades now stand out, although they kind of compliment the running boards. I was hoping to purchase the individual plastic mouldings as I’m hesitant to have the sideblades wrapped due to the quattro sign being indented, so I guess I’ll have to look at painting.
Does anyone know the correct paint code?

This is ELSA guide how to replace door cover.

Door molding part number are below or under the link
Note All of them are for paining. So either you paint door molding or quattro trim.sill

Thanks Radi for the link, I presume V7W is the paint code I require?

So V7W indicates that this door cover is in soul black, but the rest of it you will have to paint according to your car colour. That's why I suggest you will paint rather aluminium into black or wrap it instead.
