The Consumer Reports link contains a link (below) to the NHTSA site where you can type in your VIN, so you don't have to wait to learn if your car is among the affected. We have had some issues with the sensor detecting whether my wife was sitting there or not, but apparently the ventilated seats are not affected (when I typed in my VIN).
