grey wheel nut cover
hi folks,
not sure if my Q5 wheel nut cover fallen off on the road or got stolen by lousy neighbour, but the one covering my lock nut (didn't know i had lock nut on my Q5) is gone
anyone knows the part number and how much for a replacement?
thanks!

This is from an SQ5 but should be the same I would think. My car came missing 4 of them. Only after I did a wheel change did I discover this and called the dealer did they tell me, "Oh, we noticed this too and were going to order them." I did a thorough inspection but these are really subtle to notice. They shouldn't fall off and the odds are, unless you have changed tires, it was missing when you got the car.

thanks bud. pretty sure they were all there because i wash the rims and sighted all covers. only noticed one missing today. thanks for the pic and part number. just to check one more thing, the cap comes with metallic finish/gloss right?

thanks spindlewood, for the pic!
i think i know why the cover came off. the contact surface with the hexagon of cover and round lock nut was too little for snug fit, probably dropped off after some spins (i hope, cannot imagine a neighbour going nuts over nut cover ). nice try Kevin!

i went to my dealer today. they happen to have 2 versions, the part 4MO-601-173-D apparently has a shorter hex snout to accommodate the lock nut. the normal nut cover had a longer hex snout to accommodate the normal nut. is the lock nut longer? maybe i will dig out to investigate over the weekend haha. anyway, they were kind enough to give me a FOC replacement....

Just picked up our Q5 today .. saw the grey wheel nut covers and did not know that Q5 came with lock nuts. Any idea where is the key for the lock nut? The salesperson never mentioned anything about wheel locks or keys when explaining everything else for almost 2 hours.
