Default 2012 A7 Prestige, lowest chrome "blade" of grille missing

I'm a new/used Audi owner, and totally in love with my A7 Prestige; I have the licence plate grille (unfortunately) but I also have a problem - the chrome insert for the very lowest "blade" of the grille is missing. The black plastic piece underneath it is completely intact, it looks like the piece was just snapped right out of the existing holes.

As I bought the car used from a non-Audi dealership, I couldn't demand that they replace it when I bought the car.

Is there a way to get just that piece? What would I expect to pay, if I bought someone's discarded front grille (either wrecked car or someone who took off their A7 Prestige grille to replace it with a RS7 grille or knockoff)?

Anyone know a lead on this, it would be much appreciated

This part? https://www.jimellisaudiparts.com/pr...7717A-1RR.html

Although not available anymore on that site, you can check the part numbers and may find one on eBay.

Nope... I will put up a picture, it is the last one of the chrome strips in the grille itself

I have almost the same issue. But Missing one more bottom chrome piece after removing front license plate piece. Tried Global Autoparts and got sent some real thin chrome strips $100 that were useless and they refused to refund or anything . But anyway besides replacing the whole front ..does anyone know of a reasonable add on fixit? the Chrome pieces are like half in wide but Plastic??? Really?? Thanks

The entire grille is plastic, these just snap into a plastic panel. I don't think a car has had a true metal grille since the 90s, unless you bought a Rolls.
