What to use that storage area under the volume **** for?

As the title say, what do you guys use that little storage for?

No kidding. It's pretty much too small to put anything in there. I've thrown a bit of change in there, but don't leave anything in there full time. If the volume **** had been positioned up a bit more, and that storage "indentation" was made little bit deeper, it might serve a better purpose.

As a conversation piece for my passengers to ask “what the hell are you supposed to put there?” and for me to explain I think it’s for the key.

As there is no ash tray, my wife puts the gum wrappers in there to put the gum in when it gets stale, and then dispose of at the end of the trip.

One of the members posted a link to Amazon selling a “liner” to make it much more useful. Unfortunately, Amazon is not showing stock and saying they don’t know if /when it will be restocked.
