Can you help verify winter wheels size
Hello all,
found a little contradicting information and would like to check what are all the sizes that would work on a 2018 SQ5 ?
Specifically would this fit from a Q7
Wheels are 20x9, ET33, 5X112
Tires are Bridgestone Blizzak DMV2, 275/45R20
thank you in advance

The factory wheels are 8” so that could be getting tight on the inside, there isn’t much clearance. If not then you need spacers. I have 8.5” and they clear.. I don’t know about the tires. I’m away from home so can’t check my tires. What I did (Michelin Xi2 no factory size) so I worked with factory specs and found a tire almost the exact circumference that was slightly narrower. Tire Rack is a great source for fitment information.
Edit- the offset is OK.

Thanks, with the offset working would you think the will fit or is there more I need to check?

Tires most likely wont work. The max diameter that can fit is 29.3" These tires are 29.7". But the wheels should work no problem assuming the center bore is the same between Q5 and Q7

Winters are typically a lot narrower, and a square setup (fronts/rears are the same width) to aid in snow traction. OEM spec size is 235/55R19.
You'll find that there are a lot more options for 19" snow tires than 20", and a lot cheaper as well. Extra sidewall is nice cushion for rutted roads, or rubbing a curb on ice as well.

You'll find that there are a lot more options for 18" snow tires than 20", and a lot cheaper as well. Extra sidewall is nice cushion for rutted roads, or rubbing a curb on ice as well.

thank you Wires, and the 18” fit with no problems over the calipers? I guess not if that’s the OEM spec just seams like a little clearance anyone has images of Sq5 on 18”wheels?

Sorry, edited the above post (grabbed the numbers off my BMW not Audi winters). They are 19", not 18". Since they are dealer supplied, I'd assume 18" will have clearance issues (sorry about the confusion…)
