Default Gettin black!

Starting to slowly black out some of the trim. Don't want to go all the way. Need to get some more vinyl and then the window trim and fake exhaust trim is up next.

Hoping to source front mesh grilles in the future but I've only seen the main grille so far and don't like the look of mesh in the grille and stock pieces for the brake ducts

Looks awesome what did you use? And where have you seen the mash grill for the Sq5?

It's sapphire black plasti dip with clear on the grille surround and vivid vinyl on the reflector. I tried wrapping the grille twice and really struggled with it on the car. I got it looking decent from 5 feet but up close, it just wasnt good enough. I need more practice. It would be a walk in the park to do it off the car, but I'm not interested making this a full day job to disassemble the bumper. For $10, the dip looks surprisingly good and will hold me over until I get the itch to try wrapping it again.

Not sure where I saw the mesh grille. Someone posted it on here a bit ago

Love the look, also hate how the driver assistant package ruins the front look in my opinion but I just had to have it.

keep us updated with the changes also I heard once you go black you never go back

My sq5 is in for service so I got a black q5 with brown interior and its growing on me. Still prefer my color but would still love to wrap the car in gray flat mat

Thanks, I like this a lot better than fully blacked out. Someone else did this on here and really loved the look of it! Every time I park, I catch myself looking back once or twice haha
