I did because I intended to take it to the dealer for service. It seemed like a lot but it was explained to me that the normal service charges go up for each service especially the third one, supposedly when you add it all up it saves money. New to Audi so maybe it was a rookie mistake, I paid $850. I also bought the extended warranty to 100,000 miles I have come out even or way ahead on that with the last three vehicles I have owned. that was $3,000. There was another package that included brakes hoses and an alignment that I did not buy as I thought some repair I would have done at a good independent german garage. That would allow me to use different brake pads in my mind for the next brake job, stuff like that, and have a non dealer point of view on some repairs.

I bought the bare minimum to cover the 4 scheduled maintenance visits. It was like $500 to cover the 10k, 20k, 30k & 40k.
I asked for nothing more than that. I had them remove all the extra crap.

I just bought the maintenance for our Q3 and Q5. The price was not the same for both cars. Also got $100 off coupon from the dealer for both cars.

WTH !!! I just bought one for $1179. The financial manager told me that this is fixed price from Audi for Q5 !!!

It was $893 for me but I got them to throw it in at the end... I'm sure I paid for it somewhere berried in my trade or price of sq5 anyhow, they don't lose I'm sure....

I found the invoices.
2018 Q3 MSRP $699, paid $599 with coupon. (Finance mgr had listed $869 on the sales documents at time of sale so I initially declined.)
2018 Q5 MSRP $869, paid $769 with coupon.

I didn't purchase AC at the time I bought my A4, but I'm contemplating that now. I have a Costco coupon which promises 50% off up to $200. So, what I'm thinking is to use the coupon and get the AC listed (MSRP) $869 down to $669 + tax. That I figure would be a good investment. Has anyone else tried using the Costco coupon (I got it since when I purchased the vehicle, I used Costco)?
I'm in the Bay Area and from what I've seen at the dealership, they are not inclined to negotiate on the price, so I'm assuming that they'll offer AC at the MSRP price. Has anyone had luck negotiating the price down (Palo Alto Audi)?
