Live configurator with pricing before Audi's own web site, way to go CarsDirect!

I've compared a 2019 S5 SB Prestige as priced on CarsDirect with similar build 2018 as priced on AudiUSA and my increase in $915. The 2019 gets a few new things (park steering assist, phone box) so not too bad overall. See attachment. Note, CarsDirect $65390 total doesn't include $995 destination charge.

S5 is there too. I priced out an S5 Prestige SB with 19" wheels, metallic paint, Napa leather, and sport package. It actually is a bit cheaper than the 2018 with the same stuff (66390 vs 66700). The driver assist is not standard with Prestige. I wonder how accurate the prices are. I'm surprised it dropped a bit.

Now lets hope there aren't tariffs when I want to order!

My A5 coupe build is $820 cheaper than 2018. Glad I ordered it the way I wanted. Now let’s hope the lease numbers don’t hurt too much come December.

Good find. It's crazy how they are releasing the prices. They literally start from the top (A8) and have released them one by one in order with the exception of the A6. They released A8, A6, A7. My guess is Audi will release the pricing of the A5 by mid next week.

The items included in the 2018 optional driver assist package are now included in the 2019 Prestige package. They are mandatory. I'm not sure how your price went down, mine went up by $915.

Ah. I missed that. So it is a bit more expensive, but there's a couple extra things.

why is it crazy?

those executive level cars were the new cars for 2019 - that is their focus. The 2019 A3, A4, A5, etc are substantially the same exact car for 2018, so pricing changes will reflect that and be minimal.

What's a bit crazy to me is that I get to share pricing with my salesman and not the other way around.
