05 Audi S4 sedan bad timing
Selling my 2005 Audi S4 sedan automatic with bad timing chain. Looking to sell as whole but if no interest within 2 weeks will part out. Car has been garaged for 3 years and driven this year maybe 500 miles before timing went. Motor has 79,000 and body has 179,000. The car has tons of aftermarket stuff and if I did a list it would take about two pages to list it. Some parts are big brake kit, rare Oettinger RZ wheels in 19” with new conti’s , Stasis and KW suspension with KW on it now, FI exhaust with catless downpipes, Jhm flash, all mounts are 034 motorsports with a lot of other 034 Motorsport brackets and limited slip differential. Car comes with 3 sets of wheels. If you have any questions are want to see more pictures feel free to contact me at Ultraudi@yahoo.com cause I’m not on here that much. Like I said it has a lot and a lot of aftermarket parts just don5 have time to write them all down. Asking $4,000 obo

Unfortunately you are probably better off parting the car out. Depending upon what is needed parts alone could be $2-3k to fix the motor. A used motor could be dropped in instead but we are talking about a 14 year old car. B6 and B7's aren't super desirable (take it from someone who owned an '04, it was very difficult to find a buyer for and mine was only about 9 years old when I was selling) to begin with. Having major issues only makes it that much harder. It is too bad, I really liked mine but it was never really accepted as a successor to the B5. GLWS.

Yeah I understand, I recently put $5,000 into with more upgrades then timing went. It is a torque monster of a car. I think I’m going to part it out. Wheels alone will go for $1,500-$2,000. It’s to bad it is an amazing car with no flaws. Almost better putting in a different motor or LS swap it haha

Perhaps start by selling the add-on items that you still have the original parts for so that way if you do come across someone that wants the entire car you can sell it. If you think about the part value you should easily exceed your asking price. Wheels, brakes, KW suspension, FI exhaust, all of those items are regularly needed by current B6/B7 S4 and A4 owners, not to mention things like the interior (A4 owner doing a swap) bumpers, fenders rust issues, grill, glovebox door, door cards, etc.
