Ugly C8 A6 front grille driver assist inserts
im wondering how Audi could not have come up with a better design to hide the two rectangular grille cutout pieces for what appears to be driver assist features. Is it possible to delete an option to get rid of those two unsightly cutouts? If this was such a good thing, how come the new A8 and A7 don’t have this feature? I’m not sure about the A7, I better check)?

I suppose they Beat the ones on the All road...
I kind of like them because, IMHO, they make the car look more aggressive... But again, it's all about individual tastes...
Maybe a third party can come up with a cover? Something to think about and or suggest to a few companies doing after market stuff to make them?

Agree they are hideous and I am disappointed their designers could not come up with a better solution. Although I am sure it has something to do with level3 autonomy.

The heads of my ALP laser jammer are smaller and far less obvious than those sensor heads. The hard part will be finding a place to install the ALP heads on my future C8 allroad grill. (Hoping that the C8 allroad really does come to the US as rumored)

I agree with OP, once you see it, you can't unsee it. Was at a dealer and they had a gorgeous white C8 A6 and it was almost perfect except for the fake exhaust and the radars cutting into the grill's lines. I wonder why they just didn't do what they did on the A4 where its in the fog light housing, in my opinion its a smarter and better looking placement.
