Oil filter price SQ5
I just picked up my car from the dealer to get a view things addressed (top view camera update, a squeak) and decided top pick up some oil and filter for an early oil change. They want $85 CAD for a filter 
I pay $35 for the filter in my 911. I was expecting in the $25-35 range so I’ll shop around for a Mahle or Mann filter.
The parts guy expects the price to come down at some point. But for those on the fence regarding Audi Care, oil filter cost may be something to consider.

Before you go saying the dealership is run by criminals, is it possible there was a misunderstanding at that was the price for the filter AND oil. For just the filter, thats nuts, but thats about right for the filter and oil. Maybe call back and ask someone else for the price?

edit: Just called the other dealer in town. $94.

Thanks, but by the time shipping has been added ($40 for just the filter from ECS tuning, and $60 for oil and filter), and the exchange is factored, there is no savings. Free shipping for the above is just for the lower 48.
