Default Help! Help!

I have a 2006 Audi A6 Quattro and its having several issues out of nowhere. It started with the running lights going out (light and msg appeared on dashboard) about a week after that the rear brake lights stopped working except for the top one, a couple days after that the turn signals stopped working in the back left and right side, just recently the parking brake stopped working and the the as running light came on for PB malfunction. I dont know where to even start and Unfortunately I live in a small town where no mechanics will touch it.

@Rfeldsine funny answer, since just yesterday I had a friend over and when she left to leave the house her car battery was completely dead, even after I left it hooked up to my vehicle to jump. She said that it was relatively new "only changed the year before", well the next day she found the receipt for the battery and realized that it was in fact 6 years old. After we installed a new battery, everything fired up and ran perfectly.

The moral is, when you answer "I don't know" and then "X years", I'd suggest doubling the time and you'd be about 8 years old...hence changing the battery makes a lot of sense. Since our vehicles tend to go into a battery saving mode, which impacts the electronics on the vehicle substantially and causes many erroneous alarms and fault codes to permeate.

Ok good to know. So is it an Audi OEM battery and did you have it coded to the vehicle? Lastly, how did you verify the battery is "good"?

It was purchased through a dealership. I can purchase another one tomorrow but what if that doesnt solve the problem? Where else can I check?

Before you purchase a new battery, ensure the one you have is good. Your dealer will do this for you or you can do the following:

Could be the battery but this sounds to me more like a short somewhere. The EPB which fails to allow the DRL to work does not make sense.
Did your vehicle get flooded or did water touch any electronic component?

My son spilt a drink on the middle console... but this was happening before he did that.
