Default 2011 Audi A4 B8 service due

I have a 2011 audi a4 quattro that i have performed all the necessary services for but I cannot get the "service due" light to go away. I have tried doing the oil service interval reset, i bought both the carista and the obdeleven adapters and tried resetting the service that way but it still shows "service due". If i look at the inspection interval it has all been reset but the notification still pops up at start up and shut off. No CEL light or anything just the "service due" notification. Anyone know how to get rid of it?

I think the last OBD11 guy to comment this realized he was doing something wrong. Selecting the wrong item to reset or such. I don't use OBD11 so no idea how to do it correctly on that tool. But it certainly can reset it.

Unless you have the factory computer system of a similar type system you can not turn the service light off. This is not a feature that can be done by the DIY'er. Also a lot of dealers will not turn this light off if your car has not been serviced per the Audi service schedule. So if you find a shop with an aftermarket system (snap-on does) you'll just have to put up with the light for a few seconds at start up.

VCDS can certainly reset the Service Due warning message.

Good tool for $80 . I rather just wait the ten seconds and let the message go off.

I do not think it is a replacement for VCDS, but so far the ease of use beats it hands down, and it will certainly help out many on here who always want it fast, cheap and easy. It is $80 to start, but you must load it with credits to get things done, like reset your service light, or open the rear caliper.
