Default Winter tire/wheel set up

I recently purchased a 2014 A7 from Georgia and live in the Midwest. Looking to see what set-up's people have had good experiences with.
Thank you!

I recently switched from Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4 to Yokohama Bluearth Winter V905. Both are great winter performance tires. However, I think that the Yokohama’s are a step up in all categories.

On my 2015 A8 4.0 I purchased a gently used/refurb'd set of OEM 19" wheels for winter driving (pictured.... see signature below for summer rims). I carefully selected a OEM wheel as I did not want to alter the driving characteristics of the car or interfere with all the electronic driving aids.
My car came with and still has 265/40/20 all-season Pirellis. I have 255/45/19 WinterConti's on for the crappy Western PA November to March winters. Going form the 265/40 to the 255/45 maintains the ratios for the ACC and automatic braking systems.
