Default charging problems 2000 tt 5spd fwd

i just changed my alternator due to the fact the bearings went out i also thought it was killing my battery guess i was wrong battery is still dying the fuse on the battery box is still good is there something im missing i dont know if it matters but its the us version also i only had 1 plug and 1 wire and every video ive seen has 2 wires 1 plug

See wiring diagram for your vehicle for correct plug wiring.

You likely have a bad ground connection at the ground lead from the battery to the vehicle frame.

Wouldn't this cause starting issues and I found this wiring diagram on google from another user I believe that warning light is the cause of my issue that bulb went out an now I'm having these issues if I'm correct would a jumper wire from a fuse or some other 12v power source activate that wire btw its the plug that plugs into the alt as of now I have 0v at ALL times

If your battery is "being killed" then the starter does not crank to start the car. So, "yes".
