Default Car seat in Q7

We are potentially getting a 2015 Q7 tomorrow but we have a rear facing, safety first brand, car seat and wondering if there is room for it?

thanks!

Rear facing take up the most room. Im 6'3" 230, it is hard putting the rear facing seat behind my seat and me being in my fully relaxed driving position. If you are under 6', dont sweat it. I just cant wait for our little guy to finally be in a forward facing!

I’m only 5’7 and the car is for me! My hubby is like 6 foot even but he prefers to keep his driving seat straight up instead of leaned back alittle. But it will definitely be fine for me as I’m the main one driving it. We’ve got a long time in rear facing but thanks for the info!

I'm 6'5" and have no problems with our rear-facing seat (was Chicco KeyFit, now Chicco NextFit) behind me. Admittedly I prefer the seat more upright (pushed back fully, though).
No way the KeyFit fit in the third row; haven't even tried the NextFit.

Our daughter's Britax rear facing seat fit with room to spare. We typically kept it in the middle position.

Edit: I should probably clarify that I am 6'1" and typically sit fairly far back but with my seat back fairly upright.

When our grands were small we used one. I’m 6’ and it was not a problem. One warning. If the middle row is adjusted forward and there is a rear facing behind the driver, the memory key CAN move the seat rearward when the taller driver opens the door with his key and jam the backrest against the rear facing child seat. This happened in our 2011 and damaged the driver dead adjustment motor. Warrantee took care of it though.
