It’s amazing what you can do if you have drivers who can do more than find their way to the DMV for a license and authorities run by people who can drive. Here in the US we have neither.

That's slow, hehe! Can't wait for my next trip. Will be there from beginning of May through end of June taking delivery of my C63 S coupe, top speed 180 mph. It's gonna be fun!

I have really enjoyed my time on the Autobahn; a very well designed highway with wonderful drivers

Wonderful drivers is an understatement!! 5 guys in a minivan last summer doing 110 and never a worry about other idiot drivers. (Just myself!)

Where people move to the rightmost lane unless overtaking, indicate lane changes and take pride of being a more skilled driver. A drivers skill in the US is being able to operate a phone and still own a license.

This is America, YOU can't tell ME how to drive. It is the attitude of most people, most of the time, about most of the stuff, done here in the US. We have a major attitude no question about it. 😒

We just had some significant rain here in So Cal and I had the unfortunate experience of having to drive a major freeway at 7 AM. BTW- for those of you who don't know LA, 7AM is part of the rush hour(s). The freeway was full of idiots cutting in, driving too slow, not indicating and contributing to hours of backup.
Due to the density of traffic, the wipers hauling butt, the spray from hundreds of cars etc it was chaos. A classic case of the reason that amber turn signals are used by the rest of the world and a perfect example of why the "reduced visibility" rear fog light is also mandatory. Together with every radio, TV and government agency telling people to slow down, the trip was a nightmare of what is wrong with our nations backward thinking.
End of rant, our only hope is an autonomous car because the levels of ability of drivers is so low and getting lower that autonomy is not very good but will be better than the average US driver very soon.

My initial reaction was wow people actually move over if you approach them at a speed faster than they are traveling instead of just blocking the lane, what I refer to as a leftist. Must be nice to be on the road with courteous drivers! They're few and far between here.
