Audi S8 2016 Brake Thickness
Hello, new here! I am about to send my S8 for its first MOT and I have a small lip on the brake discs. I was wondering what the original thickness was on the discs and have searched the web and not found it. I have measured with a set of calipers but it's awkward with the wheels on and get an approx. measurement of 36.4mm.
Also remapped this puppy to 700PS and 900NM and really enjoying her!
Thanks in advance for any help here

Welcome.
You didn't say if conventional cast iron or ceramic. Guessing conventional, but better to be clear.
Also, how many miles on it? As in, how do pads look? If ceramic by chance, that is probably your only watch area unless miles are really high.
I can dig it out w/ known spec. Specs like these are typically service manual level, and as still pretty recent model, few owners seem to wrench on them. alldatadiy is one on line manual and not a big cost one.

40k miles. Standard steel with aluminium centres (I was told this is the case although I have never seen the steel ally join). Pads are good so I guess second set. Thanks for your help.

Hat join in where you see the axial pins at what looks like a cooling slot area just inside of the swept braking surface. They are not bolts and thus cannot just have the outer ring replaced when needed. Specs below, the S8 being the biggest 400mm ones of course:
