Default Customization with OBD11 issue

I’m sure this is mentioned somewhere but I didn’t see it.
I would like to modify some settings like start/stop and seat belt beeps on my 2018 Q7. I ordered the Carista OBD11 and it can’t cusomize settings on the Q7.

Any other devices or methods for someone(me) who is a Luddite?

Thank you you in advance.

Carista only has very limited capability to code Audis, and OBDEleven is what most people use. OBDEleven is a specific product that connects to the same OBD2 connector in the car and has better support for VAG cars like Audi. Web site: https://obdeleven.com/en/. Cheap prepaid Android phones are easy to find to run the OBDEleven app, but there's also an iOS version in the works. Supposedly it'll use a different dongle, though.

As far as instructions for coding once you have the right tool, there are lots of existing threads. Here's one and here's another.

I ordered it and it took about three weeks to get here from Europe. After a little fiddling around I plugged it in and bought some “credits” to change items with one click.
I successfully turned off that auto start/stop feature and the seat belt alarms. Total cost around $40 and now I have the device.
Highly recommend as it was easy to use and I now got rid of having to turn off auto stop/start every time I hop in the car.
Must the little things that bring me happiness.

I know I’m late in responding to this and I see you have already made your purchase but you can also look at vag-com. Ross-Tech: Home

Going back to my VWVortex days, I have only used this for all my diagnosing and programming of my vw’s and Audi’s.
