Hi,

I've managed to lose the Apple carplay option when you plug in the iPhone. There was a pop-up on the mmi screen and whatever I selected, made it disappear. I tried removing and re-adding my phone. I also can't seem to be able to get the Audi to show up on the iPhone carplay option in the general settings on the iPhone.

Make sure you've updated to the newest Ios - they just did another release a week or so ago.

Go to connection manager, scroll down to CarPlay, and check off the box for your phone

I know with Android Auto, you need a top shelf cable. Use a cheap one and it will do the same your apple play is doing. It will charge the phone but not register as being connected to android auto. Or your cable might have gone bad. Try another one.
