Default New member / new owner A7..a little help my way

Good afternoon everyone, I’m a new member and recently purchased a 2013 A7. I hope to gain new knowledge and always willing to share too.Any suggestions for the following, where to purchase and any feedback if you went down this path, etc…I live in Dallas is there a local store to conduct business?
  • · Planning to purchase a high airflow filter for the engine. I was looking for aFe, however they don’t make them for the A7, any suggestions or stay with the stock type?
  • Would like to replace front grill to go with a black one. Should I look for a S7 or a RS7 version and where is a good place to purchase it? Planning to replace rear rings to go with black.
  • · Exhaust…replace tips…kicking tires for cat back replacement for a little more rumble.

For air filters look at the K&N filter. $60 roighly. Order it online from Advanced Auto Parts and take advantage of their 25% online order sale.

Grille. Take a look at the RS7 honeycomb design. They look pretty good.

Exhaust. To each their own on this. The power gains are minimal but all depends on the sound you are looking for.

I replaced the grill due to the paint peeling badly. I like the lower "quattro" so I went with that style grill.

Agree with K&N and the RS7 honey comb grill, I need to put mine in, picked up from eBay for 100 with the Quattro on the bottom as well.

As far as exhaust, a few have just removed the muffler or the resonator and achieved decent results in sound - minimal HP gain if any at all. Its a force inducted car so less back pressure the better so removing those items did help in some way, here are a couple of YouTube videos showing the sound difference but experience of the sound will vary naturally.

I just changed the tips on mine but debated on muffler delete as well:

HEY JOE, CONGRATS ON THE A7, NICE CAR!...THEY ARE NICE CARS! I TOO HAVE ONE (2013); MINE HAS THE STAGE 2+ SETUP BY APR!! CAR IS STUPID FAST!! CATLESS EXHAUST AT THE MOMENT, BUT CONSIDERING THAT I LIVE IN CALI, I NEED TO GET THAT RESOLVED! MY LAST SET WENT **** UP ON ME, SO MY OPTION WAS TO GO CATLESS (APR TINES FOR CATLESS AS WELL) PERSONALLY, I LOVE THE DUAL TIPS SETUP ON THE EXHAUST LIKE TUSCANI66 ABOVE HAS! I'M STILL TRYING TO FIND THAT DIFFUSER / MUFFLER SET UP (LOW COST OF COURSE), AND THE RS7 HONEYCOMB GRILL WITH THE "QUATTRO" ON THE LOWER SECTION OF THE GRILL. ..........ANYWAY, REGARDING YOUR SEARCH FOR AN AIR INTAKE SETUP, I HAPPEN TO HAVE AN "INJEN" BRAND DUCT THAT'S FOR THE A7. (LOOK UP INJEN AIR INTAKE FOR AUDI A7 ON EBAY...YOU'LL GET AN IDEA ON HOW THEY LOOK.....MOSTLY SELLING FOR $240 (I'LL OFFER UP MY PIPE SYSTEM FOR $100 BUT IT DOES NOT COME WITH THE AIR FILTER....I'M STILL USING THAT, LOL) YOU CAN FIND THOSE AS WELL ON EBAY).
