Default Accidentally popping trunk with FOB

Anybody else have the issue of accidentally popping their trunk because their keyfob rubs/bumps up against something in your pocket? Twice now I've walked out into my carport in the morning to find my trunk popped, and another time a neighbor rang my doorbell to let me know my trunk was open. It seems that in each case, it was opened because I leaned up against something with the keyfob in my pocket. Now I've gotten used to ensuring that I remove my key from my pocket when I get home, but is there any way to override or prevent this?

I've had this happen a couple times. I'm thinking of using my obdeleven to increase the button press hold down time from 800ms to 2 seconds.

I have both my S5 FOB and the FOB to my wife's Q3 on the same key ring. I unexpectedly lock/unlock and open the rear tailgate on her Q3 all the time due to the shape and button placement of that fob. Never had issues with my S5's FOB.

Putting the FOB in one of these may help. Adds another layer and needs a bit more pressure to activate button.

I have mine in one and no problems.

Coincidentally I had this happen to me for the first time yesterday! This is extremely frustrating! What a terrible design. I’ll be getting a case to help avoid this from happening again!
