Default Appropriate engine Oil level

I recently had the oil changed for the first time at about 7,500 miles, a little over 1st year anniversary. When I brought the vehicle in for the oil change the MMI system showed about 3/4 full when checking the engine oil level. It's been a few weeks since the oil change and from the start the oil level reading has been fluctuating between 1/4 and almost 1/2 full. Is everything ok as long as it is registering between min and max on the the oil level indicator. No sign of any leakage under the vehicle. Should I take the vehicle back and have them top off the oil? I would appreciate advice.

Silas, as you know, the little bar graph represents 1 liter of oil. As long as there's something showing on the bar graph, you're OK. Once it disappears from the bar graph, the system will trigger a warning message.

I would suggest you continue checking the level on a regular basis and see if it continues to fall.

Silas, same here.... I hate to say but a car in this young age like yours and mine start showing sign of losing oil is questionable.... Lots of others have suggested that this is normal to see the engine consumes a little old over time, but to me it seems to become an issue right after the 1st oil change.... Isn't this strange.... I took delivery in Dec 2017.... Put up 22000 km on it.......
