2011 A6 Night vision Retrofit
Hi everyone, I have a problem and if you can guide me for the solution I'll be very very happy. I have a c7 2011 A6 3.0 Tdi, Quattro. VIN is WAUZZZ4G8BN021612. I bought the NV modul 4H0 907 547E and camera modul 4HO 998 552 from the same car. Then I bought the instrument panel 4G8 922 0984S and bought the button 4G0 941 531F.
Made the pins installation as follows;
-J853 (control unit NV)pin 2 to + power
-J853 pin 3 to - earth
-J853 pin 8 to can Low to J533(gateway under the rear seat center) pin 2,
-J853 pin 9 to can High to pin 18 to J533.
-J853 pin 1 to R212(NV camera) pin 6
-J853 pin 7 to R212 pin 5.
-J853 pin 6 to J285(instrument cluster) pin 20
-J853 pin 12 to J285 pin 19.
-J853 pin 1 to R212 pin 4
-J853 pin 2 to R212 pin 3
-J853 pin 3 to R212 pin 2
-J853 pin 4 to R212 pin 1
-J853 pin 5 to R212 pin 2
I've removed the component protection by Odis. But when I press the night vision button instrument cluster says “NV System Fault”. It says it needs basic setting , when I try to set that it says "basic setting cannot be made, there is a data problem".

Update !!!
Yesterday I went to an electronics guy, he told me to put the camera away from the wall approximately 120 cm, hold the camera as if it is on the car. Then like magic calibration started :-).
But the dimensions the wall and the camera in my hand wasn't steady at all, so he told me to make all the necessary installations for the units, then visit him again. The units, cable and the camera was at the rear seat just in case I have to modify it. So the camera sends beams to the front and there was my ceiling preventing the calibration
