Anyone replace tires yet on your S5?
Hey guys, I am almost at 15k and it looks like I will need to replace my original tires. Anyone out there replace their tires yet and if so did you stick with the OEMs or choose something else? Happy with them? I am in Houston and will likely get all seasons and leaning towards Michelins. Thanks!

What was the tread wear rated at on the tire?

So that tire offers 2.4 times the wear of the baseline test tire. Tires I have had in the past with 240 tread wear typically last at about 15 to 20 k miles, seems like you're in range of that tire. Other's may get more or less depending on driving style, roads, etc.

I did on my S5 SB at about 16k and that's not out of the norm at all...went with Michelin PS4S and love them compared to the Continentals the car came with. Now at 22k had a look at my front and rear brakes / rotors and they are getting close to done as well. The price we pay to play.

Wow, you guys must have fat wallets. Shelling out stupid money every year and a half for boy racer tires.
Screw that. I swapped my factory summers for all-seasons that probably last 3-4 years.

Wasting money isn't a hobby of mine. If you feel special by telling your friends your over-priced German car needs a set of tires yet again, I feel sorry for you.
You don't wanna know what they 're sayin' when you walk away.
If you want to ignore me, good. I can take it. It's just my opinion, your results may vary.
