Default Brake wear sensors light still on (HELP)

I need some help here...I recently had my Front brakes changed used (Brembo Pads) and (Zimmerman Cross-drilled ) after installing the new pads and sensors we are still getting the Brake and pad symbol light. We even swapped back the OEM sensors and the same problems exist. Does any one know if the rear comes with sensors as well? Any similar persons with this issue?

thanks

I would assume you'll have to clear the light with Vagcom or reset the service intervals also done with Vagcom.

One way or another, scan with VCDS or similar tool (NOT a generic OBDII scanner to be clear) will likely be in order. The rears are effectively sensored, in that the electric parking brake motor set up should be informing on the pad depth. Visually look at your rear pads as a strong clue to where likely issue is, given you already did fronts. In general rears tend to wear evenly, but I have seen cases with greater wear on the inside pad if brakes are worn and caliper (single) piston is forced relatively far out from the caliper body.
