I was pleasantly surprised that the SQ5 MMI can play FLAC and WMA lossless audio from an SDXC card formatted in exFAT. What I cannot figure out or find is the maximum card size or the maximum number of folders/files that the MMI can read from the card. There are some references to 128GB or even 256GB for the card and 10,000 files. Is definitive information available anywhere? Thanks for your help.

I have a SanDisk 256GB Extreme SDXC UHS-I Memory Card with north of 20K music files with no problems. The built-in music player is quite poor when compared to an iPhone, so I just use if as background music.

not saying a larger card doesn't work, but the manual says this: "SD/ SDHC/SDXC/ MMC memory cards: with a capacity of up to 128 GB." "USB storage device and memory cards: max. 10,000 files per medium; max. 1,000 files per playlist/directory."
