Default Sensor issues


I installed my new grille in my 2018 A5 and now the parking sensors come on when at the stop light any one can help

This is an unfortunate aftereffect of using a third party RS style grill for some people - me included, although only occurs during damp weather.

Did you calibrate the sensors and how much that will cost

I did not. There are no codes thrown, so calibration would not accomplish anything, except to ensure cash was parted from my wallet. There was another recently thread where someone said it was $500 to have the dealer calibrate their sensors.

My sensers is so sensitive and peeping even no one in front of me at the light after I installed the new grille. Any advise

Dry conditions? Are these OEM sensors, or from China? Try to align the sensors or swap out with OEM ones.

There's nothing to calibrate regarding the "parking sensors". If a calibration is done, it's for the ACC radars. It doesn't look like OP has those radars though.

Took the sensors again and made sure they are clean the peeping get better but still so sensitive . I called the dealer and IAM suppose to take it there Tuesday afternoon, not the fan of the local dealer but this the only close one to me and the other one is 200 miles away
