Default MMI STICKY BUTTONS

Hi team.

I have a 2016 A4 Saloon

I have spilt a very sugary drink on my console, red bull.
My menu and back buttons are very sticky and slow to cone back up or very hard to press down. The number button down the side is also a bit sticky sometimes and the side buttons around the dial too but there not as bad.

Any recommendations on how to get them unstuck etc. As audi says they can only clean it as best they can and if not they'll change it but it'll cost over £600.

Thanks in advance

Isopropyl alcohol, from the pharmacy. It evaporates. Make sure everything electronic is off. Few drops, wiped up as best as you can.
Also consider using it along with a compressor to blow things out a bit. Use it with cotton buds and pipe cleaners.

Spray cleaner in the cracks, let it sit, then vacuum it out. Repeat until the sticky stuff is gone.
