I need a new blower on my Q5 2012, right?
Hey guys,
Pretty much looking for confirmation of what I "think I know", isn't that an assumption?
And of course assumption is the the mother of all...
So just bought a beauty of a Q5 2012, only thing wrong with it up to now, is no air from the vents unless over 70mph
Fuse looks brand new, hehehehe, so guessing blower, blown?
Before I rip out the glove box and buy a replacement and all that,
VCDS read of module below, any further thoughts?
Kinda wondering if all faults are from the one part not working or if there's more in that department I should replace.
Thank you guys.

15(estimate) screws removed.
Glove compartment dropped.
Remove light connector.
Remove Iphone connector, from inside first.
2 connectors on controller removed. (one comes from the "car" one goes to fan)
2 Silver T-type silver screws removed.
Controller then fell out.
1 more T-type silver screw out.
1 T-type black screw out.
Fan turned counterclockwise.
Fan dropped out.
{Hardest part}
Remove plastic casing of the fan motor.
Blow air in. Blow WD Electrical Cleaner in.
Some WD40 on the pivot at the top, or bottom depends on your point of view
Reverse the whole process.
Profit!
Or actually prevention of loss

You saved a ton of $$$. We had our '11 A4 motor replaced last fall. 😑

{Hardest part}
Remove plastic casing of the fan motor.
any tips on how to remove the casing? The 2 metal clips on the top are super easy... but I’m having a hard time with the 2 plastic tabs on the sides... and I don’t want to ruin the casing.
thanks in advance!
