Default Cost of wheel bearing for S5?

Anyone know how much the wheel bearing costs for the front wheel? Dealership is quoting me 579.

Expensive, yes. Like, OMG-level expensive. That sounds like it might include labor.

Yes, seems to be inclusive of labor. Plus 150 for straightening the wheel and 200 for 4 wheel alignment.

Hate potholes.

Whatever you do, don't buy anything but the genuine wheel bearing. Audi doesn't have great bearings to start out with, but the cheaper ones from off-brands are worse.

At least they're not charging you $750 for the alignment and DAP calibration.

Default If the pothole caused the damage then collision insurance covers the cost

Less, of course, your deductible.

Wouldn’t the warranty cover the bearing? Assuming you don’t don’t run into the dealership yelling at the top of your lungs that you a hit a pothole?

You’re telling me our cars can’t handle some potholes? That seems like Audi should be responsible for fixing it not you.

I came this close. One wheel needed to be repaired, just swapped it back yesterday. The rear one was also damaged on 1/4" but I will leave it as is. More than potholes, I blame winters. 'Hate them. How do you know your bearing is shot? It must be obvious.

I had one replaced on my A4.. it was a bad pot hole and I knew instantly something was wrong with the insane noise.
Audi replaced it under warranty for some reason, I did not ask how or why.
