I've read most of the oil screen thread. Should I be proactive and have that done as well. Or just upgrade if/when they go?

Do you care if it lets go at any random time and being stranded somewhere?
If you do not have the service history (oil/oil-filter change every 5k miles?), then maybe consider replacing screen and check valve. It depends on what you value more: time, money or reliability.

Here's the latest TSB I've seen. Doesn't look like it includes all 2017 S6 VIN's so probably late built 2017's and 2018's are ok with the newer screens, etc? Not sure, but here's the TSB. Looks like fewer issues with facelift models, but that's the feedback I've read.
Congrats on the car! The red is HOT!!!! JB4 and keep, keep your warranty, plus beat the flash tuned cars too. The performance on map 2 will blow you away, you will need the bluetooth device to change to map 2 however. It defaults to map 1 otherwise. Enjoy that thing but drive chill, that thing will attract cops forsure!!! So nice though!
