Brake/Rotor Package with new purchase
Hello all,
Happy to join the S4 crew here with a 2019. Dealer was selling me a $1595 package for brake pad replacements each year plus 1 set of rotors (F/R) if needed over 4 years/ 60,000 miles. I didn't know if this was a decent value? I am NOT DIY on those items and am not too aggressive with driving and braking but do plan to take it on the track and a be a little more fun with it now that I have it!!

Dealer charged me $900 to replace rear brake pads and rotors (which I did at 20K miles), so your price seems like a pretty good discount. I drive primarily in the city, so lots of stop and go. Depending on your driving style, you may get more miles out of your brakes, so make sure you factor that into your return on the money spent.

I'm at 27,600 miles and still haven't needed brakes yet. I've got 3-4 mm before the sensor trips on both front and rear.
If you know you're going to drive 15K+ a year and make habit of pushing this car hard / cooking the pads coming down the mountains, carving canyons, etc it could be a good value, but I would probably pass if not.

Perhaps you can go to a brake shop rather than the dealership?
