I am questioning if I have received an online update even though Audi says no. I have had my E-Tron for 6 weeks and had issues with the garage door opener / programmed buttons. I had to program my garage door every week, I also had the steering wheel (*) programmed to open the door would work for 2 days every time I used the * the programming window would open up. Well going on 2 weeks everything is working fine. NO problems, garage even opens from 200 yards for the house. How did this fix itself after I complained to Audi?

I also questioned whether Audi has been sneakily doing this also. As soon as I saw my MMI customized menu reset it made me think if they pushed an update. I was going to find where the firmware version is and keep an eye on it. My understanding is if a security flaw is identified in the MMI they do have a way of pushing an OTA update. I read this a couple of years back, how true it is I don't know as I don't think companies broadcast security flaws willingly rather than sneak in software updates.

Today the MMI reset my home screen back to defaults for the 4th time. Does anyone know if Audi has a bug reporting system?

Try calling the e-tron support line: (844) 573-8766

I've had my E1 for over 2 months and have had all the same problems. I've had to reprogram garage door openers almost every week. Virtual display settings reset and other settings too. Etron support and dealer make it sound like nobody has ever reported this problem.

I'm going to contact the dealer to see if if\when an MMI update is available. It's fricken annoying! The MMI can not handle it when 2 phones are in the car that have been synced to it either. They should tie the phone pairing to the profile but instead the phones fight each other to connect so you constantly see connected, disconnected messages coming up all the time. I'm going to start another thread for MMI version numbers so we can all compare the version we're on. Currently i'm on this version but not sure if the cars leaving the factory are getting updated versions yet.....
