While I'm asking, has anyone gotten a fix it ticket signed off without fully de-tinting?

fully de-tint? you only have to remove the front 2 windows>
FWIW... i did it myself, it was EASY
Just gotta let it sit in the sun for a while... then cut a tear, and peel slow. the glue came off with the tint (about 90% of it) so i only had a small amount to scrape off myself.
But also... i have a guy that does really good work...he's in thousand oaks/agoura/westlake area. if you want his name/number email me and ill give it to you

I have 3M Color Stable 5% all the way around (except for windshield). Heat deflection is great and the warranty is exceptional.

I used 3M Crystalline LLumar on front windshield, side windows, rear window, and moonroof. Mainly for heat reduction here in Houston, TX.
Cost was around $525.00. Yes, it’s expensive but was worth it to me. Used same product on my new truck as well. If you do the front windshield you will need cling plastic to apply any stickers on the windshield such as state inspection or toll road sticker.
