i blew out my oil pan on 'old' 58 on my way to SLO.. too fast for the woops

Default the "woops" - totally. that section is great. Scary when you're loaded to full with track gear...
You're talking about the same section as I am (sounds like Black UrS6 was farther east).

I can imagine the ride over the bumps in the '58 was spectacular and hair-raising at the same time... I can see you whomping across them in my mind... sunny sky, tall grass blowing, up, down, up, down... ahhh, to be there....

That's across teh north side of Edwards AFB - they do patrol it heavily there.
