You've put together three or four small events. None of them have been stellar, but those who've chosen to attend have apparently enjoyed themselves a bit. Dusty (S4AvantDT) has hosted regular, usually pretty large events every Sunday for a couple of years. They are widely attended by enthusiasts of all kinds, and enjoyed by many. These events do not promote a vendor. They do not promote any business to which Dusty is a party. He offers these gatherings because he enjoys them. As far as I know, he has never said anything to detract from any other event. Why must you disparage Dusty and his events just because you are jealous, and/or a customer of Wicked? Wicked will continue to prosper without your misguided and childish input. Do you think you are a member of some special club, or that you'll get some good guy deal for speaking well of Mike and the gang? Let me tell you, I've been a "member" of that club. If they take care of you, it won't be because you said something ****ty about Dusty. It'll be because they are making money. (That's fine. They run a solid business, but don't think it's all charity to you.) Making statements such as your own will not help them, but hurt them. As I understand it, there were excellent turnouts at both events.
It's ironic that you guys feel that Dusty's gatherings consist of the "the same old cars". There are always many, many exotics and customs at EuroSunday, and aside from a few rain days, I have never come to a EuroSunday event and failed to see something, or meet someone new. How many Audis and VWs are at Wicked? Most of them are VAG cars, I'm sure. How many belong to regulars? How many McLaren SLRs, XJ220s, pre-US F430 Spyders, genuine AC Cobras, genuine 100 point Hemi 'Cudas, twin turbo Porsche Speedsters, Enzos, Carrera GTs, F40s, F50s, (and the list goes on...), have visited Wicked regularly?
How many CHP escorted, 100 plus car highway runs for charity have come from Wicked?
How many front page newspaper articles have been written about events coordinated by Wicked have been published?
Dusty is a very humble, generous man. He had not said word one about Wicked or their event before some of "the boys" attacked his regular Sunday event because it conflicted with a one off of their own? (Funny... those posts have vanished now. Perhaps their authors realized the hypocracy of their own words?) If the staff at Wicked was so concerned about concflict, why did they plan a Sunday? EuroSunday has been a standing Sunday morning event for a couple of years.
Yeah... I think people ask for pictures once in a while. The Daily News did when it published a lenghty article about Dusty. ASG Photoworks is here nearly every Sunday taking art photos for sale. Many, many pictures of SoCal Audis and VWs on these forums have been snapped at VCR.

I don't even know him But read from the start to see how it all began. I simply commented that he always says the same thing about how much bigger it's going to be each month and each month is the same. I never claimed WMS or anything of that sort. I was speaking out of my own feelings. WMS had nothing to do with what I wrote, but for some strange reason they started attacking WMS now that was wrong. So look Skydive I could start talking ish to you but I'm not. Just next time keep your mouth shut !!!!

Who attacked WMS? I read the thread before some of the posts went *poof*, and it seems to me that you personally attacked Dusty's regular event, and he merely pointed out that Wicked's show would probably be "the same old stuff" too. Why is it okay for you first, but not for him in his own defense?
Then you asserted that nobody asks for pictures, when in fact they do, and did. If you don't want to be confronted with fact, don't say things unless you are sure of your words on Audiworld, and in life.

If you were going to be a professional about this one, you'd have left it alone to begin with. I refrained from saying anything until Evotech decided that childish name calling was appropriate. At that point, I followed with facts in support of my friend, Dustin.
I am always cordial and fair when the topic of WMS comes up even though there is no love lost between you and I. In point of fact, my post contains some good things about WMS. When asked directly, I tell people that you and I have different goals, and leave it at that.
