Roll Call!! Barber Motorsports Park Driving Event - Nov 5th-6th 2005
The Cherokee Chapter of the Audi Car Club will be hosting our first driving event at BMP this November 5th-6th 2005. The club's national board is concerned that there might not be enough interest in this event to warrant putting down the hefty required deposit. I need to gauge interest in the event.
So, if you are planning on attending this event, as it has been on the schedule since the first of the year, OR if you have interest in attending please let me know by posting a response to this thread. If you are not going to attend please don't post.
FYI, BMP is a world class track built to FIA/FIM spec located in Birmingham, AL, just under 2 hours from Atlanta. This would be the closest event to Atlanta for the club. If I can pull off the 2005 event it will be a sure thing for years to come. The cost will be around $350 for the two day event.
Hope to see you there!

Do NOT miss this one, folks!
I am 100% for this event, and my wife will be there in her Mini S (she's a first timer). If you haven't seen or heard about this track, check out the web site. It is an incredible facility. I'd drive many hours to get there if I had to, but luckily I'm very close.
It'd be a shame to let this opportunity slip away, so spread the word to anyone you might know, even outside the region.
