Awesome day out. Actually got a little cold up in the mountains. Fun stuff.

Things observed:

-HPS pads are good, but after the drive, they squeal more than ever. Oy.

-Banked turns are fun.

-Sport suspension is good, but could be better.

-Tiptronic isn't so bad. Third gear rocks.

-Bicyclists can pass you when there's traffic.

And finally...

-It was a good idea not to eat beforehand.

Default That's hwy 180 right?

Will be doing a little trip up there next Fri.

Had the same problem with my Ferodo DS2500's. Lots of anti-squeal backing cured it (mostly).

Default Yep. Where'd you get the anti-squeal? I need some badly.

Driving around the city/campus is rediculous.

Default Pretty much any run-of-the-mill auto parts store.

Might have to give that a shot. Works well? I don't know why I never really thought about it.

Default The guy at AutoZone looked at me funny when I asked for it.

Advanced Auto Parts had it, but I'd have to take off the pads again. Ack. I'll try to see if I can get rid of the squeal with a few really hard brakes later this week.

Default Then the guy at AutoZone was an idiot. That stuff has been around since dirt.

If you need a driveway/tools to do it, you could do it here.

Default Hmm... that might work.

I'll have to see how my week pans out, but how's your schedule looking on sunday? After the meet?

Been meaning to get my hands on that super cleaning stuff you mentioned about.
