I am moving there for a job promotion just wondering what u guys thik of it? and any good places to find an apt or roomies to start out?

Congrats on the promotion. Where is your job?
A lot of the better neighborhoods are on the East and North sides of town (check River Rd.), but there are a lot of apartments in the midtown area (Country club/Speedway area) because of the proximity to the UA campus.
The town is pretty cool, but very sprawled out. Awesome Mexican food. It's probably the most liberal city in AZ. There are 3 industries that Tucson is based around: Defense (Air force Base, Raytheon), Univ. of Arizona, IBM. The summers are mad HOT. 110 degrees easy. Very little to no snow or rain.

i ended up not taking thepromotion. lol. my dumb ***. i think there might be better opitunity for me here if a stick it out a lil longer. well find out..... thx tho!
